The Music Ministry at Bethany is an enthusiastic group of volunteers who come together to use their gifts and talents to glorify God through music and worship. The Ministry consists of a traditional church choir and a contemporary worship team. Both ensembles are always accepting new members, provided they have a heart to serve and are dedicated to musical excellence.
BETHANY CHOIR
Before our ministry was changed due to COVID restrictions, our ensemble of 15-20 members sang a variety of songs, including standard hymns, eclectic anthems and seasonal gospel numbers.
The Bethany Choir leads the congregation in musical worship during the 8:30 a.m. traditional service each week. We also celebrate our pianist and organist for providing accompaniment for the choir each week.
Anyone who has a passion for choral music, singing collectively with others and strong vocal skills is welcome in this group.
WORSHIP TEAM
The worship team consists of 15-20 musicians and vocalists who participate on a rotating schedule. Each week, the band includes a combination of keyboard, rhythm and lead guitar, bass guitar, drums, and several vocalists. The worship team leads the 11 a.m. contemporary service using a varied repertoire of contemporary Christian worship music, both classic and new.
This group is intended for experienced musicians and vocalists who are comfortable exhibiting a confident stage presence and leading Bethany’s congregation in high-energy worship. If you would like to join the Worship Team, please do not hesitate to contact our Minister of Music.
