Baptist Men and Women on Mission
The Baptist Men and Women on Mission have assumed the important responsibility of keeping missions before the congregation by providing missions education as well as hands-on missions opportunities to the Church. They are advocates for the missionaries Bethany supports and also promote Bethany’s monetary contributions to various missions organizations.
Helping Hands is a ministry dedicated to helping those in need. It began out of a desire to help church members with a variety of hands-on projects like minor home repair, safety bar installation, and wheelchair ramp construction, and has since expanded to reach out into the local community as well.
Volunteers from Bethany partner with Baptists on Mission at the state level in order to help with disaster relief. The goal of NCBM Disaster Relief Ministry is to provide ways for Christians to offer aid and minister to people who are displaced, injured, or hurting due to disasters.
This is an important and meaningful volunteer ministry that offers worship services to inmates throughout the year at Forsyth County Jail through Bethany’s partnership with Forsyth Jail & Prison Ministries. The mission of the Prison Ministry is to exhibit Christ’s love and forgiveness in order to provide healing and to transform lives.

Skyline And NHA
GALATIONS 6:10 project
Members of UNBOUND will travel to New Hope and Skyline Apartments every other Sunday throughout the year to engage in Bible lessons and recreational activities with many school-aged kids from that community. The purpose is to be the Church outside the walls of the church, and focus on intentional discipleship.
At least once a week during the summer, members of UNBOUND pull together to serve the community in various ways. Previous excursions have included performing yard work for elderly members of the church and presenting goody bags to the staff at the local nursing home.
The Health & Wellness Clinic is held at Bethany on the 2nd Saturday morning of every month from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The Clinic is provided in order to give free medical care to people without insurance coverage or other means to receive necessary care. Volunteers are welcome, both those with medical training and those who are simply willing to help manage the Clinic.
An exciting element of life at Bethany is carrying out God’s desire to reach the nations, and we encourage people of all ages to participate in our various mission opportunities. Past international trips at Bethany have included Russia, Honduras, Haiti, Belize and South Africa. Recent North American efforts have focused on West Virginia, Tennessee, and eastern North Carolina. We are constantly seeking God’s direction in other areas for witnessing, discipleship, and church planting.
